We were at SXSW in Texas a couple of weeks ago and it was sooo amazing. We were working our asses off and played a lot of great shows. We even managed to blow out the sound system at one of our shows and couldn’t go through with the show… sorry! A lot of work and a lot of fun, the best combination.

Watching some pictures from this past month. Miami, Austin Texas, LA, Stockholm, Berlin, Münich, Frankfurt, Milan, Wien, NYC…No wonder why I can’t recall what we were up to last week. Our camera is right now our memory and our suitcase like always is our home. 22 kg is not that much to hold on to but I promise that it´s worth it. Welcome to the journey of our life…

Things are finally falling into place. Sitting at The standard Hotel in west Hollywood. Just came home from a lovely writing session together with Coco Morier and just now enjoying a glass of wine together with my other half of Icona and the best Keith in the world. Life is very good today. Enjoying every step I take. Just watching pictures from last week and starting to realize what we been up to the last 2 weeks. Things are finally catching up with me. I´m smiling at myself and looking at my best friend sitting beside me. 3 years ago we where sitting in a sofa in central Stockholm with a bottle of wine spitting out our heartaches. That´s where Icona & Pop was born. Still I got heart ache and guess that´s a part of life…But at least I´m not afraid. I know that I always got my best friend to fall back to. We started like two souls without a home. One heartbroken, yearning to be placed somewhere safe…. One that was constantly searching for something that she didn´t have.. ..We still don´t have a home but i guess Edward Sharpe and the magnetic zeros said it so right,,,”home is wherever i´m with you” Laughing by myself and the situation we are going through. Thank you for letting us do watch we are doing <3

Home sweet home .. Just came home from a tour. One of Our last summer Festival gigs in sweden for this year. And I ask myself “WHATTTAFCK, is summer soon over..Didn´t even notice it was here” I say that every year..And every year I promise myself that i´m gonna make it to my best summer so far. (you would be stupid if you would´t haha) well I definitely have to say that it has so far been a MEIHAM summer in a good way. Just found myself on a festival two days ago drinking my morning coffee beside Pattie Smith. Just felt a rush of love and energy floating through me and I just looked up and nodded at her polite and thought for myself “hmmm this has absolutely been my best summer so far”. It feels like we ´ve been all around the world in two weeks. But those 5 days in NYC in the studio together with Style of eye, Robopop and Elof AKA Childman really made me wanna stay up way too many hours then I should have. And of course meeting our extended family members at the Milk Studios made it even harder to leave New York. We started our trip in Italy Rome, we ended it in Barcelona last night. Now I´m laying in the sofa paralyzed listening to THIS tune with Anna Lunoe & Flume. Not spending more then 24 hours in the same place kind of makes your head messy. I think we actually spend most of the time queuing to check in at the airports and waiting for the plane to lift. But wow what a week. Gonna put up a lot of pictures of our trip later on but for now you´ll get some old ones. Thank you Italy Berlin // Melt Festival New york Barcelona ..and welcome lovely Stockholm

What a weekend… We still feel the base from Summerburst in our body’s… The day after we went to Norrköping to play at club called Karateklubben. It was great. A lot of people that danced like crazy and 50 % of the crowd made out before we got to the middle of our set.. hehe that’s a good club and a good night. The day after that we went back to Göteborg to play at a big love festival. We where honored to play there. We heard they hit a record this year with 10 000 people celebrating their love and being proud of their sexuality! Tonight we play at little festival in Skellefteå . We play in a cosy barn and we think it will be rave! LOVE

We were standing backstage dancing to Calvin Harris fantastic dj set and hearing 14 000 screaming & dancing people. Just when we where about to go on stage the sun came out for the first time in a long time. Thank you Summerburst. We leave you now and await Summerburst in Stockholm 15th of june.

One night in LA when we played at Writers Room we ended up in an after party up in the Hills with a lot of friends singing Creedence Clearwaters – Down on the corner over and over again…. Don’t ask us why! The morning after we realized that we had 42 minutes to get to the hotel and pack all our stuff before our ride to Coachella would arrive. Where the fuck were we?? We manage to get there in time and fell a sleep at once. We woke up when it was time for food. At Burger King we heard the song… Down on the corner, It must be a sign! haha, we remember everything from the night before and we’re back in the party mood. We arrive to our hotel in Palm Springs and we only have 10 minutes before it’s time for us to dj. When we see the pool area we realize that we’re in heaven. Friends, beer, gorgeous guys, instruments, Water guns…
